Stitching the World - The Rainbow of Journeys

I must thank the A-Z Blogging Challenge for keeping me on track and actually getting this project [almost] all stitched! I will write up a conclusion with my thoughts on the challenge later in the week.

There were 117 answers to my Stitching the World Four Questions:
1) Where are you from?
2) Where are you now?
3) Where do you want to go?
4) What color is your journey?

Here's a video "tour" for your watching pleasure:
And here, the rainbow of answers:

  2. Hi Anne - when I first visited your blog, I didn't go back to the start of the project - now I see the video - it makes much more sense! If it's not too late to add a journey I am form Oxford, I am in Bradford, Yorkshire and I would like to go to Japan in as Green a way as possible please!
If it is too late, perhaps I can participate in your next project. I am currently working on a Tunisian crochet panel based on the fabulous fabric clothing the participants in The Kiss though using gold colours rather than gold wool. I know there was a lot of gold leaf in Klimt's painting but I have the gold colours...

  3. You'll be stitched in Version 2! I'm currently rearranging the world (again) before getting a new world denim map printed. Need to fix a few omissions and a typo. Plus eliminating the washed denims that don't give enough contrast with the "stitched" country outlines. One learns as one goes!
Your panel sounds fascinating. Looking forward to seeing it! Love Klimt's pattern mixing.
