2017 was the year I started sketching Fluevogs.
I used a brush marker and drew looking at the styles on the Fluevog website

In 2018, I drew a cleaner version

And spent some time working out the repeat colorways, settling on this:

What did I use to embroider this?
I Frankenstiened different pieces of the final strikeoff fabric with a checkerboard print and some black rayon crepe.

This was the first deliberate piece designed (pieced?) for the 6x6" panels that Sanchez Art Center requires for the 50|50 exhibition. I finished it on February 20th and it was among my submissions to the juror for the show.
