The final day of "Blogging from A to Z" with my annual (going on eight years) challenge of drawing Fluevog Shoes and creating repeating patterns with them. Eventually, these designs wind up on Redbubble and Spoonflower.
Today's footwear is the Fluevog Wiggle Zaza, a Fluevog collaboration with Zandra Rhodes
The A to Z Challenge is held every April. The challenge is to blog through the alphabet every Monday through Saturday. The “A” theme is blogged on April 1st, “B” April 2nd, etc.

Why do I think of granny when I see this shoe? Not an insult, just old fashioned looking but granny with a modern twist because those patterns are definitely not granny-style.

They definitely have a 1920's [realized I had to include the century in date!] vibe. I'm pretty sure spool heels are a 1920's thing. And if you go back to X, in my reply, I put a link to the Anna Sui fashion show which also had that flavor.
