New Threads Exhibition at Laband Art Gallery

The Laband Art Gallery at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles held a captivating exhibition of contemporary textile-based work entitled New Threads, January 27 - March 17, 2018.
It was my second time on campus, and first visit to the gallery, and navigating the campus was difficult (very bad signage). I believe it was Spring Break -- the only humans I saw were either the maintenance crew zipping around in carts or prospective applicants touring the campus and as lost as I was.

I should have just looked for the yarn bombed trees!

LA has a very active yarn bombing group. Check this out: http://spygirl-amb.blogspot.com/2013/05/granny-squared.html
