Day 4 of "Blogging from A to Z" with my annual (going on eight years) challenge of drawing Fluevog Shoes and creating repeating patterns with them. Eventually, these designs wind up on Redbubble and Spoonflower.
Today's footwear is the Fluevog Dali
I debated whether to find a different D shoe, as I have personal trauma from the artist Salvador Dali.
(That story is for later).
But guess what, the shoe is cute, has fun design elements, and I will put aside my lingering issue with Senior Dali.

I like this design although I like anything with stars. I wouldn't mind wearing this though the heels is a bit too high for me.

DeleteI want the "later" story. I have some trauma around Chagall that came up yesterday. I'm kind of over it now, and can laugh about it. Kind of. As for Dali, I have told my doctor that the next time I'm asked to draw a clock face, I've been practicing speed-sketching "The Persistence of Memory" so I can do it in under 60 seconds. Unfortunately, I'm afraid she'll call me on it one of these days and my memory is better than my artistic ability. But we'll have a good laugh as I'm hauled off to memory care, anyway...
